The AWOS at the Nampa Municipal Airport provides minute-to-minute updates on:

Wind direction

Variable wind direction

Visibility

Variable visibility

Sky condition
-
Cloud height
-
Temperature (Celsius)
-
Dew point (Celsius)

Altimeter setting

Density altitude
Along with the different aspects of weather reporting, the Nampa Municipal Airport can add NOTAM's to the AWOS message system to advise pilots of construction and/or hazards a pilot would need to be aware of.
The AWOS supplies its own communication system in the form of a synthesized-voice, relaying the information to pilots. Tune to 118.325 or call (208) 318-0040 for the current AWOS report.
